Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the N9 near Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny this evening, the 30/8/10.
The crash happened at 5.20 p.m. involved a truck and a car.
The driver of the car, a woman in her early 20s, was fatally injured in the collision. A male passenger in the car received minor injuries and was removed to St. Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny. The truck driver was uninjured.
The road at the scene of the crash is closed pending a technical examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place. The road is expected to re-open in the next half hour.
