Gardai have seized a handgun, silencer and a number of rounds of ammunition along with making two arrests following a search in Clondalkin on the 28/4/10.
Gardai from the drug unit based at Ronanstown Garda Station conducted a planned search on a house in the Wheatfield area of Clondalkin at approximately 9pm on the 28/4/10 and seized a handgun, silencer and a number of rounds of ammunition (subject to examination).
A male and female in their late 20’s were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Ronanstown and Lucan Garda Stations.
