Fatal road traffic collision in Dunleer, Louth on the 2/4/10

The Gardaí at Dunleer, Co. Louth are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred this afternoon (2/4/10) on the R169 at Lismanus which is on the Collon to Dunleer Road.

A 70 year old male driver (only occupant) of one of the vehicles was fatally injured and was removed to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he was pronounced dead. The four occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured. 
 

The scene is currently closed for technical examination and traffic diversions are in place.
