Gardai in Ardee are investigating a two-vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 11.40pm last night – 17th April 2010 at Rathory, Ardee, Co. Louth.
A 73 year old female was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda after the car she had been driving was involved in a collision with another car.
The driver of the other car was also taken to Hospital having sustained minor injuries.
The main N2 remains closed and diversions are in place locally.
