Fatal road traffic collision at Muchwood, Wexford on the 3/4/10

Gardaí in Wexford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Muchwood, Glynn, Co. Wexford at approximately 2am this morning, Saturday April 3rd 2010.

A 23 year old male pedestrian was struck by a car at the above location, he was removed by Ambulance to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. 
 

The scene is currently closed for technical examination and traffic diversions are in place. 
 

Investigations are continuing.
