Fatal road traffic collision at Elphin, Roscommon on the 18/4/10

Gardai in Elphin are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred shortly after 3.00am this morning, the 18th April 2010 at Springfield, Elphin, Co. Roscommon.

A 63 year old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a car.

The man’s body remains at the scene and diversions are in place locally.
