Fatal aircraft accident near Powerscourt, Wicklow on the 10/4/10

One man has died and another was seriously injured following a light aircraft crash, at a private airstrip, near Powerscourt, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow at 3.10 p.m. on the 10th of April 2010.

A 66 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Loughlinstown Hospital, where a post mortem examination will be carried out on Monday the 12th of April.


The second man aged 69 years was taken to Tallaght General Hospital where he subsequently died on Monday April 12th 2010 as a result of his injuries.
