Drugs Seizure and arrests in Dublin - 2/4/10

Gardaí at Pearse Street have seized cannabis plants and arrested two males following a search in the Ballybough area of Dublin this afternoon, the 2nd April 2010.

Detective Gardaí from Pearse Street arrested two males in their 30’s after searching a house in the Ballybough area. Approximately €160,000 worth of cannabis plants (subject to analysis) were seized at the house. The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.

The two males are detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 2006 at Pearse Street Garda Station.
