Motorists are advised of disruption on the M7, N7 & M4 primarily and other routes approaching the city centre.
An Garda Siochana understand that a protest will take place by a group calling themselves “The Irish Taxi Council” on October 1st 2009.
Taxi drivers from different centres throughout the country are meeting at Naas, Co. Kildare at 6.00am.
They will proceed to Dublin where it is believed they intend to travel to the department of Transport on Kildare Street.

There will be parking restrictions on Merrion / Fitzwilliam Square from 6.00am.
Motorists should plan their journey and listen to traffic updates.
