A male was fatally injured when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding.
Gardai at Gorey are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Gorey to Courtown Harbour road (R742) at Tomsila at approximately 2.30pm this afternoon (21/09/09).
A 28 year old male was fatally injured when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Waterford Regional Hospital. He was alone on the motorcycle.
The road is closed and diversions are in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators at scene.
