Fatal road traffic collision at Togher, Cork on the 26/9/09

All five occupants of the car were taken to Cork University Hospital.

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Spurhill, Togher, Cork. 

The single vehicle crash occurred at about 9.15 p.m on the 26th of September 2009.  All five occupants of the car were taken to Cork University Hospital.  The driver of the car a 18 year old male was later pronounced dead.  The other four occupants, who are all male and in their late teens, are not thought to be seriously injured.

The scene of the collision is preserved for forensic technical examination.
