Gardai have charged 2 people in connection with a drug seizure of €3 million of cocaine (subject to analysis) at Glasnevin on the 11th Sept 2009. They will appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30hrs this morning, the 14th Sept 2009.

Gardai from the Garda National Drug Unit (GNDU) supported by the Finglas Drug Unit carried out a search of a house in the Glasnevin area of Dublin today, the 11th September 2009.
During the course of the search cocaine (subject to analysis) with an estimated value of approx. €3 million was seized. Gardai also discovered various items associated with cocaine production and believe the premises was being used as a cocaine mixing factory. Two men aged in their 20’s were arrested and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
