Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating a shooting incident at O’Malley Park, Southhill, Limerick this morning, the 28/10/09 shortly after 8am.
A 27 year old male was seriously injured and brought to the Mid Western Regional Hospital. A 40 year old male and a 20 year old female have been arrested. The male is currently being detained at Roxoboro Road Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007. The female was arrested for public order offences.
The scene is preserved for technical examination.
