Gardai in Wicklow are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Stephen O’Meara, aged 26 years missing from Rosehill, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow.
Stephen was last seen leaving his home at 6.30 pm on Thursday, 6th August 2009. He is described as 6' 2'' in height, athletic build with sandy coloured receding hair.
When last seen Stephen was wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a blue Manchester United crest and a blue line down the side, a dark grey Nike zip up tracksuit top and a t-shirt with a red stripe across the chest, and a pair of black and white Nike Air Max runners. He was also wearing a thick gold chain.
On Saturday and Sunday, the 17th and 18th October 2009 the Wicklow Garda Divisional Search Team assisted by the Garda Mounted Unit, Civil Defence and Mountain Resue volunteers will undertake a major search of a number of forest and mountainous locations in the Redcross area of County Wicklow.
