Two kilos of what is believed to be Diamorphine (Heroine) was seized in the operation.
As part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of drugs, Gardai from the Crumlin Detective Unit stopped and searched a motor car on Windmill Road, Dublin 12, at approximately 12 pm on 16/10/09.

The drugs, subject to analysis, have an estimated street value of €300,000.
A 36 year old male was arrested and is currently being detained at Crumlin Garda Station, under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He can be detained for up to seven days.
