Operation by Garda Bureau Of Fraud Investigation and Customs Service Enforcement Unit in Drogheda, Louth on the 17/11/09

A man was arrested in connection with this operation.

 

Following an operation carried out by the Garda Bureau Of Fraud Investigation and the Customs Service Enforcement Unit, Counterfeit Travellers Cheques to the value of €150,000 and Bank Drafts were seized in Drogheda today, (Tuesday, 17th November 2009.)

 

A 37 year old man was arrested in connection with this operation and is currently detained at Drogheda Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.

 

Investigations are ongoing.
