Gardai in Arklow investigating the murder of John Deasy are renewing their appeal for information.
They are particularly interested in establishing the identity of a male fitting the following description: He is believed to be up to 6’4’’in height, of thin athletic build, with a non descript accent.
He was wearing a light blue cotton mask, and a black or dark coloured waist length shiny jacket or wind cheater.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact Arklow Garda Station on 0404-32304, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Gardai in Arklow investigating a fatal stabbing of a man in Arklow on the 25th November 2009 will provide a Press briefing to members of the Press at 11.45hrs at Arklow Garda Station.

Gardai in Arklow are investigating an incident in which a man in his mid 40's died at approximately 8.00pm this evening - the 25th November 2009.
The incident occurred at a shop on Coolgreany Road in Arklow. It is believed that the man sustained a stab wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene which is now preserved. The man's body remains at the scene and the services of the State Pathologist have been requested.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have been in the St Peter's Place area of Coolgraney Road between 7.30pm and 8pm this evening and have any information to contact Arklow Garda Station on 0404-32304 or Wicklow Garda station on 0404-60140.
Gardai are particularly interested in establishing the identity of a man described as being 6'4" wearing a dark jacket that was believed to have been in the area at the time.
