Drug seizure and arrests in Blanchardstown, Dublin on the 13/11/09

There has been a drug seizure in Blanchardstown.

In a joint operation carried out by the Blanchardstown Drug Unit, the Garda National Drugs Unit and Revenue Customs Service, a house was searched in the Clonsilla area of Dublin this afternoon, the 13/11/09.

During the course of the search 7 kilos of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value, subject to analysis, of €84,000 was seized.

A male aged in his 40’s and a female aged in her 30’s have been arrested and are currently being detained at Cabra and Finglas Garda Stations under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.
