Gardai at Mallow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 6.30am this morning, the 9/5/09 on the N20, Cork to Limerick road, south of Buttevant.
A male in his 20’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving lost control and left the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant and no other vehicle was involved.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at scene.
