Gardai investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision on the N3 at Belturbet, Co. Cavan, on the 30/4/09 have named the deceased as Michael Flanagan, aged 78, from Terenure, Dublin.
Mr. Flanagan was fatally injured when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry on the N3 south of Belturbet.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who was travelling on this road between 3.30pm and 4pm on 30/4/09 to contact Ballyconnell Garda Station on 049 -9525580 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
