Gardaí at Henry Street in Limerick are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R463, Corbally Road, at approximately 2.30pm this afternoon, the 10/5/09.
A 74 year old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car. She died later in the afternoon after being taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, Dooradoyle.
The R463 is closed between the junctions with Mill Road and the Grove Island Roundabout pending a Garda forensic collision investigation.
