Fatal road traffic collision at Drumnamuckla, Galway on the 19/5/09

Gardaí at Loughrea are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on the Woodford to Portumna Road.

 

Gardaí at Loughrea are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the Woodford to Portumna Road at Drumnamuckla, Co. Galway, at approximately 3.45pm today, the 19th May 2009.

The woman driver in her late 40s (and only occupant of the car) was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has been taken to Portinuncula Hospital.

The road is closed for a technical examination and diversions are place.
