Fatal road traffic collision at Clondalkin, Dublin on the 19/5/09

Gardaí at Clondalkin are investigating a road traffic collision that on Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin.

 

Gardaí at Clondalkin are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 5.30pm this evening, the 19/5/09 on Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

A 2 year old boy (pedestrian) was fatally injured when he was struck by a motor van.

He was pronounced dead in an ambulance while being taken to The National Children's Hospital,Tallaght.

The road is closed at present pending a forensic collision investigation.
