Gardai have seized a quantity of drugs and arrested a man in his 30's, following an operation in Co. Wicklow
A male will appear in the Bridewell Courts this Morning, the 22/5/09 at 10.30am in connection with the drug seizure in Bray on the 20/5/09.

Gardai have seized a quantity of drugs and arrested a man in his 30's, following an operation in Co. Wicklow yesterday evening 20/5/09. The operation was carried out by the Drugs Unit attached to Bray Garda Station assisted by the local Detective Unit & Garda Task Force.
At 7.30pm an open area in Co Wicklow was searched and a quantity of drugs seized. The approximate value of the drugs seized (cocaine & ecstasy) is €450,000 (subject to analysis)
The arrested man is detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act provides for a maximun detention period of seven days.
