The male arrested in relation to the drug seizure in the Lucan area has been released on station bail.
The 17 year old arrested in relation to this drug's seizure has been released on station bail and charged to appear before Dublin District Court 55 (Children's Court Smithfield) on the 11th June next, at 10.30am.

As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Lucan area Gardaí from the Ronanstown Drugs Unit this evening, the 27/5/09 searched a house on Hillcrest Way, Co. Dublin.
During the course of the search 1kg of heroin was discovered and seized.
This seizure, subject to a forensic analysis, has a potential street value of €200,000.
A 17 year old male was also arrested. He is presently being detained at Lucan Garda station under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.
