A 26 year old man is expected to appear before Trim District Court this morning, the 21/5/09 in connection with the David Sharkey Murder investigation. (See Press Releases below)

The female arrested in connection with the murder of David Sharkey was last night (20/5/09) released without charge, a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A third person has been arrested in relation to the investigation into the murder of David Sharkey.
A second female was arrested late last night and is presently detained at Kells Garda station under section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act.
That now brings the total arrested to 3.
A 26 year old male is in custody in Navan, a 22 year old female arrested last night is now in custody in Trim and the latest person arrested, as stated, is in Kells.
All arrests were made in the Navan area.
