Man who received serious head injuries.
Gardaí at Pearse Street are seeking the public's assistance in relation to a serious assault which occurred outside the Citibar, Dame Street, Dublin 2 (between the junctions with Temple lane and Crow Street) at approximately 3am on Sunday, the 24/5/2009.
The injured party is a 29 year old man who received serious head injuries and was taken to St. James hospital.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
Gardaí would like to talk to anyone, including taxi drivers, who were in the Dame Street, Temple Lane, Crow Street area of Dublin 2 at the time, and who may have witnessed this assault to contact Gardai at Pearse Street at 01 666 9000.
