Gardai in Youghal are appealling for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the 13th April 2009 at Knockane Cross, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork at approx 1.40am. The collision involved a blue Yamaha motorbike and a Green Isuzu jeep. The Gardai in particular wish to speak to the driver of a silver car which was seen in the area immediately prior to the collision.
Knockane Cross is the first junction on the N25 Waterford Rd as you leave the village of Castlemartyr.
