Gardai at Ferrybank in Waterford are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at 11pm last night – 9th March 2009 at Newrath, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford.
One man believed to be in his mid 30’s was fatally injured when the car in which he was driving was involved in a collision with a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and no one else was injured in the incident.
The Rockshire Road is currently closed to traffic as a technical examination is taking place. Diversions are in place.
