Gardai at Castlerea Co Roscommon are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Friday 6th March 2009 at approximately 11.30pm.
A car left the road at Ballinphuill, Castlerea, Co Roscommon and collided with a tree. The 21 year female driver received minor injuries however her 7 month old daughter received serious injuries and died at Temple Street hospital last night (8/3/09)
No other persons were involved.
