Gardaí at Cornafulla are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R357 at Raghrabeg, Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly.
Gardaí at Cornafulla are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R357 at Raghrabeg, Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly at approximately 10.30am on the 14/3/09.
The 30 year male driver and only occupant of a van was killed when he lost control of his vehicle which ended up in a ditch.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Portiuncula Hospital.
The road is closed at present and diversions are in place.
