Gardai investigating the murder of Kieran Cunningham arrested a female in her 20's
Gardai investigating the murder of Kieran Cunningham in Galway, on the 3rd of June 2009, arrested a female in her 20's at about 2 p.m. on the 4th of June. She was arrested in Galway and was detained at Galway Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. Her period of detention has been extended.
Gardai are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two people who may be in a position to help them in their enquiries.
The description of the two people are as follows :
The male is in his mid twenties, approx six foot in height with dark coloured hair, tightly cut. He is wearing a blue coloured t-shirt with the logo "SAO PAOLO 09" and stonewashed denim jeans. The t-shirt has a white rim on the neck and sleeves.
He is accompanied by a female approx 5' 6" tall with dark hair tied back and wearing a purple coloured top and black trousers with a 3/4 length leg. She is carrying a shoulder bag described as being black in colour over her right shoulder, hanging on the left side of her body.
Again the Gardai are appealing to the public for their assistance in identifying this man and woman, and are requesting that they contact the incident room at Galway Garda Station at 091 538000 or the Garda confidential line 1800 666 111.
