A woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving lost control and overturned into a deep drain.
Gardai at Bailieboro are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that was discovered at 10.30am this morning, the 15/6/09 on the Mullagh to Crossreagh Road, Co. Cavan.
A 64 year old woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving lost control and overturned into a deep drain at the side of the road. She was the sole occupant of the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed and is being examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
