The collision involved two vehicles, there was only one occupant in each vehicle.
The Gardai in Cavan are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on the M3 at approx. 5.30pm on the 23 June 2009. It occurred approx. 5 miles the Dublin side of Cavan town.
The collision involved two vehicles; there was only one occupant in each vehicle.
Both these drivers were taken to Cavan General Hospital.
A female in here late 60’s was pronounced dead at Cavan General Hospital at 6.30pm. The injuries of the second driver are not believed to be life threatening.
Road Diversions are currently in place and the Forensic collision investigator is on scene.
