The collision involved two motorcyclists, and happened on the N87 which is the main Belturbet to Ballyconnell road.
The Gardai in Ballyconnell are investigating the circumstances of a fatal traffic collision on the 31st May 2009 at approx 19.25hrs. The collision involved two motorcyclists, and happened on the N87 which is the main Belturbet to Ballyconnell road, it occurred the Ballyconnell side of the Slieve Russell Hotel.
A motorcyclist in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene was examined by the Forensic Collision Investigator. The road was closed for a number of hours and re-opened again at 01.15hrs on the 1/6/09.
