A male in his late 20s has today (10th June 2009) been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the discovery of the body of Peter Gunn on 15th January 2009. He was arrested in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
He is currently detained at Castlerea Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardai in Finglas are investigating the discovery of the body of a man on Dunsoghly Lane, The Ward, Co. Dublin.
The body was discovered shortly after 9.00pm on the 15th of January 2009.
The area is sealed off and crime scene examiners from the Garda Technical Bureau are at the location. The State Pathologist has been notified of the discovery.
The body, which has not been identified, remains at the scene.
There is no further information at present but updates will be provided as information becomes available.
