An incident occurred in an apartment in Barrow Mills, Graiguecullen, Co. Carlow.
Gardaí in Carlow are investigating the death of a 37 year old man. An incident occurred in an apartment in Barrow Mills, Graiguecullen, Co. Carlow at approximately 2 a.m. this morning, the 5th of June 2009. A man was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny with what are believed to be stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead.
A 40 year old woman was arrested at the scene and detained at Carlow Garda Station. This woman has now been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The scene has been preserved for a Garda technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
