Firearm and drug seizure in Finglas, Dublin on the 23/7/09

A fully loaded Webley Revolver was seized.

 

As a result of an operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Finglas area, Gardaí from the Finglas Drug and Detective Units this evening, the 23/7/09 searched a house on Barry Drive.

During the course of this search a fully loaded Webley Revolver was seized.

Cannabis Resin with a street value of €1,600 was also seized - value subject to analysis.

A 21 year old man was arrested at scene and he is currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.
