Two males aged in their 50’s and 30’s were fatally injured when the cars they were driving were involved in a head on collision.
Gardai in Ennis are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N68, Kilrush to Ennis Rd, near Lissycasey, at approximately 4pm on 16.7.09.
Two males aged in their 50’s and 30’s were fatally injured when the cars they were driving were involved in a head on collision. Two passengers have been taken by Ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital.
Forensic Collision Investigators have been notified and the scene is closed pending a technical examination.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
