Gardai in Malahide, Dublin are investigating the circumstances surrounding shots fired in a house in Drynam Drive, Kinsealy, Dublin at approximately 22.10 hours last night, the 7th January, 2009.
A 29 year old male was shot a number of times and was removed from the scene by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital. His condition is not considered to be life threatening.
The scene is currently being technically examined this morning.
