Gardaí at Finglas are investigating a fatal shooting at Coldwinters, North Road, Finglas, Dublin 11 at approximately 5.10pm yesterday evening (20/1/09).
Gardaí arrived on the scene and discovered a badly injured man been attended to by Ambulance crew, this man was taken to the Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown but was pronounced dead a short time later. The deceased man is believed to be in his mid 30's.
The scene has been sealed off pending a full Garda technical examination and a major investigation is under way.
