Fatal road traffic collision in Limerick City on the 21/1/09

Gardaí at Henry Street are investigating a fatal road traffic collision when a male 67 year old pedestrian was killed.

Gardaí at Henry Street are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10.20pm last night.

A 67 year old male pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a car on Clare Street, Limerick City.

The man died at the scene and his body was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.

The road was closed at the time but has since opened.
