Fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Wednesday, the 28th of January 2009 at Carrigmartin, Ballyneety, Co Limerick in which a 13 year old pedestrian was fatally injured.
Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 8.00 a.m. this morning, Wednesday the 28th of January 2009 at Carrigmartin, Ballyneety, Co Limerick.
A 13 year old female pedestrian was fatally injured when she was struck by a car. She was removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital In Limerick where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to contact Roxboro Garda Station 061-214340.
The road is currently closed and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are examining the scene.
