Gardaí from the North Central Drugs Unit attached to Store Street in Dublin carried out a search of a car at Bellewstown Co Meath on the 22/1/09.
Gardaí from the North Central Drugs Unit attached to Store Street in Dublin carried out a search of a car at Bellewstown Co Meath this evening (22/1/09). During the course of this search 3kg of Cocaine (subject to analysis) was discovered.
A 52 year old man was arrested and is currently detained at Store St Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
In a follow up search at a premises on Oxmantown Road, Dublin 7, 10kg of Cannabis (subject to analysis) was recovered.
The total amount of drugs seized during this operation has a potential street value of €300,000.
Investigations are continuing.
