Gardaí at Blackrock are investigating a serious injury traffic collision that occurred on the Monkstown Road, Dublin.
Gardaí at Blackrock are investigating a serious injury traffic collision that occurred on the Monkstown Road at approximately 5.45pm this evening, the 8/1/09.
A 49 year old female pedestrian suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car.
She was taken to St. Vincents Hospital, Elm Park.
Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information to offer are asked to contact Gardaí at Blackrock on 01 6665200.
In particular we are appealing to the driver of a silver coloured car, possibly a Nissan Micra, to come forward.
