Shane Geoghegan murder - update on 26/2/09

One of the men arrested in relation to the murder of Shane Geoghegan has been released without charge.

 

One of the men arrested in relation to the murder of Shane Geoghegan has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for The Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to his detention.

Another man (in his 20's) was arrested in the Limerick City area yesterday in relation to this investigation.

He is being detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act 2007.

That means that a total of14 people remain in custody.
