Gardai are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occured at Ballinahown, Rossavil, Galway.
Gardai are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occured in the early hours of this morning sometime after 12 midnight and 3.00 a.m. on the 22nd of February, 2009. The collision occured at Ballinahown, Rossavil, Galway.
A 28 year old male driver was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck a water pump house. The body of the dead man was taken to University College Hospital Galway, where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
Gardai are appealling to any witnesses who may have travelled this road any time between 11.30p.m. on the 21st February, 2009 and 3a.m. 22nd February, 2009 to contact them at Salthill Garda Station 091 514720.
