As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Crumlin/Drimnagh areas of Dublin the Sundrive Road Drug Unit.
As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Crumlin/Drimnagh areas of Dublin the Sundrive Road Drug Unit this afternoon, the 7/2/09, searched a house on Windmill Crescent, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
They were assisted by the local Detective Unit and the Garda Dog Unit.
During the course of this search they seized 20 ounces of crack cocaine and small amounts of miscellaneous drugs.
Gardaí also took possession of various items of drug distribution paraphernalia.
The total value of the seizure is in excess of €100,000, depending on an analysis of the substances seized.
A 26 year old man was arrested and taken to Sundrive Road Garda Station where he was held under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
He has since been released from custody as he was charged and bailed to Dublin District Court 46 at 10.30am on the 19th February 2009.
