Drug seizure at Cork on the 19/2/09.

Gardai at Anglesea Street arrested three men at St. Finbarr's Road, Cork City.

 

Gardai at Anglesea Street arrested three men yesterday evening 19th February 2009 at approximately 5.30pm at St. Finbarr's Road, Cork City.

Approximately €250,000 (pending analysis) worth of what is believed to be cannabis resin and ecstasy tables was seized, after Gardai stopped and searched a vehicle.

The three men are currently detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Bridewell (34yrs), Togher (36yrs) and Gurranabraher (45yrs) Garda stations.
