Gardai arrest 1 male for possession of Controlled substances in Kildare on the 22nd Dec 2009
Gardai in Naas, Co Kildare arrested a 30 year old male in Kildare town on the 22nd December 2009 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance namely Cannabis resin and Heroin( subject to analysis) with intent to supply. With an approx. street value of €7,500.
He was taken to Kildare Garda Station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
He was charged on the 24th Dec 2009 and appeared before a Special sitting of Naas District Court on the 24th Dec 2009. He was remanded on bail to appear before Kildare District Ct on the 25th February 2010.
